Fresh from competing in the Firestone Twin 275s in Texas last weekend, IndyCar driver Alex Tagliani was on hand to kickoff 25 days until the 25th year of the “roar by the shore,” the Honda Indy Toronto.
The festivities took place outside William Ashley’s flagship store at 55 Bloor St. W. on Wednesday.
Other drivers also made appearances including John Farano from the Ferrari Challenge, along with his prized possession.
The main treat was the cake designed by CakeStar resembling the Honda Indy Toronto race course. While it was an impressive display, it was equally tasty too.
Not to be outdone, William Ashley proved the durability of teacups by parking an IndyCar on top of four of them. It was a sight you had to see to believe.
